PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The Delasco Electricator is a non-sterile, reusable, electrosurgical generator. The Electricator is designed to generate high frequencies (radio frequency "RF") of high voltage and low amperage current. The unit incorporates a ground-referenced monopolar and bipolar output which is used primarily in physician's offices and treatment rooms to perform electrosurgical desiccation, fulguration, and coagulation procedures. Patients with dermatological lesions such as cysts, polyps, and carbuncles can be treated with the Electricator with or without the use of anesthesia (depending on the site of the procedure and the patient tolerance level).

Accessories, which enhance the Delasco Electricator, include:
Handpiece: The Electricator Handpiece, part number 26300, is a reusable hand-switching device used for the delivery of current to the electrode.
Protective Sheaths: The disposable non-sterile Protective Sheaths are designed to protect the handpiece from contamination.
ElectroliteŽ Electrodes: The monopolar electrode plugs into the handpiece and delivers electrosurgical current to the patient.
Note: The Delasco Electricator cannot be used without the handpiece and electrode accessories.

Wall Mount Kit: The wall mount kit allows the Electricator to be mounted either on the wall or on a mobile stand.
Foot Switch: The optional foot switch adds flexibility when using the standard handpiece and allows the user to activate the Electricator by either the handpiece or the foot switch.
Forceps: Optional Electrosurgical Forceps are an alternative way of delivering the current to the patient. When using Forceps, a separate bipolar cord replaces the handpiece and the foot switch must be used to activate the Forceps.
Patient Plate with Connecting Cord: The optional Patient Plate with connecting cord is utilized to enhance the coagulation capabilities of the Electricator. Note: As the Electricator is ground referenced, the use of the patient plate is not necessary.
Universal Mobile Stand: The optional Mobile Stand is an alternative to mounting the Electricator on the wall and allows the physician to easily move the unit from one exam room to another.

INTENDED USE
The Delasco Electricator is intended to be utilized for destroying skin lesions and to coagulate small bleeders by applying high frequency current. The unit is used primarily in the Physician's office and in particular, those of Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons.

METHOD OF OPERATION
The Delasco Electricator produces a high voltage, low amperage radio frequency current, which is delivered to the patient via a handpiece and electrode. When the electrode is placed in contact with tissue, the cell fluid heats and dehydrates (in the case of a lesion, the lesion is destroyed, and in the case of a small bleeder, the bleeder is coagulated).
